Smith's Appliance Repair was founded by
Patrick Smith in 2006 after having spent over 15 years in the
appliance repair field. We are located in Tallahassee,
Florida. We are commited to providing you highly
qualified, reliable service. We continue to advance
our knowledge of the latest products by maintaining our
commitment to continuing education.
Melissa Smith handles most of the scheduling and the book
keeping. Together we make a great team to give personal

Repair provides authorized warranty service on major
brands like Whirlpool, G.E., Maytag, Frigidaire , and
Kenmore. We offer all these things at competitive prices,
along with great customer support - a combination that can't be

and installation on
most appliances. If you just need
some advice, feel free to call and we will answer any questions you

Q: Why does my dryer
take too long to dry?
A: The most
common problem is your dryer vent. It becomes restricted over a
period of time and reduces air flow.This causes the
dryer to work twice as hard and take twice as long to dry.We can
clean most dryer vents, saving electricity and reducing the threat
of fire.
Q: What are your hours of
operation?
A: Our normal
business hours are Monday through Friday 8-6. We
will make exceptions for emergencies. We try to accommodate your schedule. Are you tired of being told
that we'll be there between 12:00 and 4:00? We try to be there at
the scheduled time and if we are running behind we will call to keep
you informed.
Q: Can I bring
my appliance to you?
A: Yes, if you
would like to. We normally make house calls, but if
you want to bring it in, we can check it
out.
Q: Can I
purchase parts for my appliance from you?
A: Yes. All we need is the model and
serial number off of your machine and we can get the part
for you at a competitive price.
Q: Where is my model and serial number
located?
A: Your model and
serial numbers are always located together. They're located in
different places with each appliance. Just call us and we can let
you know where to look.
Q: What
is you method of payments?
A: We take check or cash.
Q: When can you come out?
A: Usually the same day,
if you call early enough. If not, we can schedule the call for the
next day or at your convenience.
Q: Is my appliance worth repairing?
A: That's hard to answer without checking it
out. However, if we check it and you decide not to fix it, we only
charge a minimal diagnostic fee.
Q: My refrigerator won't do
anything.
A: Don't panic!! Are the
lights on? Try plugging it into another outlet. Make sure it's
turned on and the settings are correct. If these aren't the problem,
call us and we'll be there as soon as
possible.
